Biochemistry Practical Session

The diverse roles of the pharmacist as a medication expert and as a researcher are of intertwined importance; no wonder they are embedded together in our modules. In order to learn and practice the essential lab skills, a hands-on approach to apply scientific concepts is adopted at the School of Pharmacy.

This session is a clear example of NGU’s pursue to provide the students with a chance to apply their theoretical knowledge and work effectively in the lab. The students applied the rules of analytical chemistry to draw a calibration curve between known concentrations and the absorbance using colorimetric methods, then apply their knowledge to perform a glucose tolerance test.
