Prof. Manal Maher, Dean of the School of Pharmacy, attended and actively participated in the workshop titled “Classification of Healthcare Data as an Entry Point for Data Governance in the Healthcare Sector”, on Tuesday 02 September 2025, at CREATIVA innovation hub – Cairo University.
The workshop was organized by the Personal Data Protection Center and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in collaboration with Roche Egypt and LYNX Business Advisors.
The workshop focused on reviewing the legal and regulatory framework for personal data protection, presenting the proposed methodology for classifying healthcare data, and discussing best practices and scientific challenges in the field.
