This strategic initiative, led by the School of Business & Finance (SOBF), marks the launch of SOBF Executive Education arm—designed to be a prominent and transformative platform that advances banking & corporate professionals’ skills and capabilities, delivering meaningful impact on careers and society at large.

NewGiza University (NGU), in collaboration with regional partner Injaz Consulting Group, has signed the second annex to the Memorandum of Understanding with the Egyptian Banking Institute (EBI), the training arm of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

This strategic alliance marks the launch of Egypt’s first specialized diploma in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the banking sector. Introduced under the umbrella of the “Digital Academy” powered by FinTech Egypt (an initiative by the Central bank of Egypt), the program reflects a rigorous content development process that integrates international, regional, and local training expertise delivered by Injaz Institute, alongside academic validation and excellence provided by NGU—bringing this landmark collaboration to life.

The agreement was signed in the presence of H.E CBE Governor – Mr. Hassan Abdallah, H.E NGU President – Professor Dr. Ahmed Sameh Farid, Former Prime Minister & NGU Head of Advisory Board – Dr. Ahmed Nazif, NGU Vice President – Professor Dr. Lamis Ragab, Dean of School of Business & Finance – Professor Dr. Khaled Abdel Aziz Hegazy and CEO of Injaz Consulting Group – Eng. Mohamed ElSherif.

This successful alliance is powered by the strategic leadership and commitment of its founders, Dr. Iman Youssef, NGU SOBF Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies & Executive Education and Eng. Ahmed Rahmi – Injaz Executive Learning Director.  Their rigorous efforts were further strengthened by the strong support and recognition of their respective institutions’ senior leadership. Technical professional and academic expertise was guided by Eng. Abdel Moneim Darwish – CEO Injaz Tech and Professor Dr. Laila El Fangary – NGU Professor of Information Systems.

The realization of this mega alliance was guided by the unwavering backing and full support from Dr. Rasha Negm – CBE Sub-governor of Fintech and Innovation, Mrs. Zeinab Abdel Razek – EBI Chief of Business Development & Training Execution. Other key team members with remarkable contribution include Eng. Mahmoud Abdel Fattah (EBI), Ms. Mariam El Masry (CBE) and Mr. Ahmed Seada (Injaz).

The ceremony was attended by leaders & key players in this mega collaboration from NGU, CBE, EBI & Injaz.

In recognition of the ongoing successful collaboration between NGU, CBE & EBI; since the signing of the first Memorandum of Understanding in 2024, NGU School of Business & Finance undergraduate students who successfully completed the FinTech Fundamentals course in FY 2024/2025 marked their achievement with a memorable group photo alongside key banking leaders and NGU senior management.
