SOBF Hosts Mr. Ahmed El Mallahy, Founder of Cognify Education

The School of Business and Finance proudly hosted Mr. Ahmed El Mallahy, Founder of Cognify Education, as a guest speaker for our Year 3 and Year 4 Entrepreneurship students in two modules — Social Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship as Practice — led by Dr. Lamia El Ayouby, Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

As a leading EdTech entrepreneur, Mr. Ahmed shared his inspiring journey of founding Cognify, an award-winning digital learning platform that secured investment on Shark Tank Egypt and received support from the Mastercard Foundation. He also highlighted his other ventures — EagleOwl Technology, Raqmy, and EBBO for Educational Services — offering invaluable insights into digital transformation and innovation in education across the region.

Through Cognify, Mr. Ahmed and his team have built a compassionate community dedicated to supporting children with special needs and their families. Their mission is to provide a nurturing environment where every child can flourish, regardless of ability. Through inclusion, advocacy, and empowerment, the community brings together parents, caregivers, educators, and professionals to foster meaningful relationships. Their wide range of services includes shadow and inclusion teachers, nutrition programs, innovation programs for children, parent group talks, and summer camp initiatives — all designed to promote holistic growth and inclusion.

Thank you, Mr. Ahmed, for inspiring the next generation of changemakers!
