On behalf of the scientific committee of the Neuromuscular Genetics Congress (NMGC), in partnership with the World Muscle Society, we are delighted to invite you to attend the NMGC in Cairo, Egypt, on the the 4th to the 6thof November 2022.

The meeting will bring together specialists from across the region of the Eastern Mediterranean, and leading international and regional experts in the field of Neuroscience and Human Genetics in a scientific clinical and academic forum providing networking and collaboration opportunities.

Medical professionals (neurologists, geneticists, pediatricians, pulmonologists, physiotherapists, nutritionists and postgraduate students interested in the field of NMD from the following countries but not exclusive: Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Sudan, Tunisia.

Manuscript Writing Workshop

6th of November 2022

The manuscript writing workshop led by the WMS will provide a great opportunity to the young doctors from the Eastern Mediterranean region working in the neuromuscular research to advance their manuscript writing and publish their data under the mentorship of WMS executive board members.

Neuromuscular specialists from the regional countries can submit their scientific abstracts to be reviewed by the scientific committee. Maximum of ten abstracts will be chosen to be presented in the workshop.

Eligible participants:

Medical professionals working in the field of neuromuscular diseases in the following countries but not exclusive: Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Sudan, Tunisia.

Abstract criteria:

Abstracts related to the neuromuscular clinical and genetic research of maximum 250 words.

Abstract submission deadline:

All abstracts are submitted through the congress Register Now

Submission deadline: 30th of September 2022.
