The School of Economics and Politics (SOEP) hosted a lecture by International Disability Inclusion Consultant, Dr. Mostafa Attia, titled: “Inclusion: How and Why it Matters?”.
The School of Economics and Politics (SOEP) was honored to host Dr. Mostafa Atteya, an international consultant on Disability and Inclusive development, with both great live experience and academic professionalism. Dr. Atteya was born with visual impairment but ‘disability’, never stopped him from leading life the way he wanted to.
In his interactive inspiring session with students and professors, Dr. Atteya explained that “Life is seldom fair and has its share of ups and downs. But then again, life is also what you make of it. You can choose the prism you want to look at life through”.
He also clarified the necessity and importance of mainstreaming and inclusion, as well as the participation of people with disability in any decisions concerning them applying the slogan” Nothing about us without us.”
