COURSE OVERVIEW
This course offers a comprehensive exploration of cosmetic products, including hair care, bath products, and skin care. Participants will learn the formulation, benefits, and application of various products such as shampoos, conditioners, bath bombs, lotions, and scrubs. Additionally, the course will feature a guest lecture from Dr. Alaa Youssef, founder and CEO of jEVAN natural care, who will share insights on transforming a passion for cosmetics into a successful business. Legal considerations in the cosmetic industry will also be addressed, providing participants with essential knowledge to navigate regulations and ensure compliance. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with both the practical skills to create cosmetic products and the business acumen to launch their own brand.
OBJECTIVES
- Identify and differentiate various hair care, bath, and skin care products.
- Analyze the key ingredients and their functions in each product type.
- Gain hands-on experience in formulating basic hair care, bath, and skin care products.
- Explore strategies for turning a passion for cosmetics into a viable business.
- Understand the legal requirements and regulations governing cosmetic products.
LEARNING OUTCOME
By the end of this course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to formulate their own cosmetic products and navigate the legal landscape.
COURSE CONTENT
(Five hours per day for 3 days)
- Hair care products (shampoo, conditioner, leave in, and dry shampoo)
- Bath products (bath bomb, hard soap, and shower gel)
- Skin care products (cold cream vanishing cream lotion bar scrub ointment)
- Legalities for cosmetic products
Certificates will be granted to participants based on full course attendance.
