International students can apply to NGU by following the below steps:

                          Application Process for International Students


1. Complete the Online Application

Fill out the online application form.

2. Pay the Application Fee

After submitting your application, proceed to pay the non-refundable application fee of 1,500 EGP online using a credit card to move forward in the process.

3. Receive an Auto-Reply Email

Once you complete the payment, you will receive an automated email confirming your submission. Within 48 working hours, you will also receive an acknowledgment email containing your NGU application number.

4. Submit Your English Proficiency Score

Reply to the acknowledgment email with your English proficiency score (in PDF format), and include your application number in the email.

5. Interview & Aptitude Test

You will be invited for a personal interview within 48 working hours. No prior preparation is required.
Applicants to Architectural Engineering and the School of Arts & Design will also be scheduled for an aptitude test.

6. Apply on the Ministry’s “Study in Egypt” Platform

Visit the Ministry of Higher Education’s Study in Egypt platform to:

  • Complete the required application
  • Pay the related fees
  • Fulfill all criteria for non-Egyptian students
  • Obtain your nomination letter
  • Finalize all required steps on the platform.

7. Submit Original Documents

Submit the original documents to NGU’s Admission Office, as outlined on the “Study in Egypt” platform, for verification and validation.

8. Receive Provisional Acceptance

Once your original documents are verified, you will receive a provisional acceptance from NGU.

9. Pay the First Installment & Lab Insurance

You will be required to pay the first tuition installment and lab insurance fee by the deadline stated in your provisional acceptance email.
