Organised by the Office of Student Affairs, the three day event consisted of informational sessions as well
as various team-building activities. Its aim was to introduce the students to NGU and ensure a smooth transition into medical school. The first day started off with a welcome address by Dr. Sameh Farid and various other faculty members, who sought to familiarize the new students with the NGU ethos and give an idea about what to expect during their first year at the university. As well as the welcome speeches,students were introduced to the NGU educational system, semester structure, and campus rules and regulations, ensuring they were equipped with all the information they needed to begin their studies at NGU.
