At the NGU’s 1st ever White Coat Ceremony, students pledged their commitment to their professions and to the health of the patients they will serve in the future. In attendance at the ceremony were Dr Sameh Farid, Prof Deborah Gill, President of the Supreme Council of Universities Ashraf Hatem, British Ambassador John Casson, and Dr Lamis Ragab, NGU Vice President. As this first class of Newgiza University students embark on their academic journey, they will forever remember this day, when their familiar lab coat came to symbolise something much more impressive: the care and healing of others
