Students from the School of Economics and Politics (SOEP) had a wonderful and rich day at the Institute for Diplomatic Studies, affiliated with the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). The NGU delegation was cordially welcomed by H.E. Amb. Waleed Haggag, Head of the Institute.
Led by their Dean, Dr. Hala Sakr and other SOEP academicians, students learned from top Egyptian diplomats about the nature of a diplomatic career, the application and recruitment process and had a guided tour in the charming palace where the MFA was once headquartered.
We are sure this visit served as inspiration to our students who expressed their gratitude for the SOEP’s efforts to organize this visit.
